Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09

This policy explains what data VPNEM comes into contact with while providing its cross-border network acceleration subscription service, what each type of data is used for, how long it is kept, and how users can review or delete it. Sections follow the actual processing workflow so each point can be checked one by one.

What Data We Collect and Why

Signup asks only for a username and password — no email address required. This information is used to create the account, sign in to the user panel, and help recover access credentials if the user needs it.

Checkout creates an order record covering the plan or data package chosen, the amount, the payment method and the payment time. Order records are used to activate the service, confirm payment, process refund requests, and keep the accounting records required by applicable law.

Visit statistics are aggregate page-level counts only: which page was opened, whether the visitor arrived from a search engine or directly, and the general browser and device type. This data is not used to identify individuals and is not linked to accounts.

Our No-Logs Stance

VPNEM does not record which websites or services users visit over international routes, and does not keep connection logs — including connection start and end times, source addresses and destination addresses. Routing is handled during the session, and the technical state needed to maintain a connection is not retained after the session ends.

Traffic over the routes is not analysed for content, no user profiles are built from access records, and route usage data is never used for advertising.

One boundary is worth stating: if a user submits a ticket to troubleshoot a route issue, technical support will review route status for the relevant time window, but will not use it to trace what the user was accessing.

Cookies and Local Storage

Cookies and local storage on this site serve only the two purposes below. No third-party advertising trackers are involved.

  • Interface language preference: stores the interface language you choose so your next visit opens directly in that language.
  • Login session: after signing in to the user panel, your credentials are stored in the browser's local storage to keep you signed in across page refreshes and navigation.

Visit statistics use anonymous counts and do not write any identifier that could be used for cross-site tracking. All of this data can be cleared at any time through your browser settings; after clearing it, you will need to choose a language again and sign in again.

Who Handles Payments

Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT payments are all collected by the respective payment providers. VPNEM never sees card numbers, payment passwords or payment provider account details — it only receives notification that an order has been paid, along with the necessary order number.

Payment providers handle information under their own privacy policies. Refunds follow the 60-day no-questions-asked refund commitment; the exact process is described on the Refund Policy page.

Data Retention and Deletion

Signup information is kept for as long as the account exists. Once a closure request is submitted through the ticket entry in the user panel, signup information and login credentials are deleted; because order records are tied to financial reconciliation and compliance requirements, they are kept for the shortest period required by applicable law, then deleted or anonymised when that period ends.

To review or correct information in your account, or to request deletion of a particular piece of data, submit a ticket as well; the outcome will be answered in that ticket.

How This Policy Is Updated

When this policy is updated, the Last updated date at the top of the page is revised at the same time, and the current version of the text governs.

For significant changes to what data is collected or how it is used, a prominent notice will appear on this page in advance, with a transition period before the changes take effect. If you do not accept the updated policy, you can request account closure through a ticket before it takes effect.

Related terms: Terms of Service, Refund Policy; requests to review, correct or close account data all go through the ticket entry in the user panel.
